Registration for all age groups is now open
There is a deadline of December 1 for all travel leagues. These are players who will be entering grades 3 and above this spring. After December 1, there is a $50 late fee and we cannot guarantee a roster spot.
For in-town leagues, which is players in grades Pre-K through grade 2, the cutoff is February 1. After February 1, there is a $25 late fee and we cannot guarantee a roster spot.
For all age divisions, registration will be closed if/when the group fills up. This may be prior to the registration deadlines. Your best bet is to register as early as possible, avoid the late fee, and ensure your child gets on a team.
Spring 2020 registration closes for all leagues / all age groups (except TOPS) on March 15, 2020.
New Travel Uniforms
**This is for travel – grades 3 and up ONLY**
In Fall 2019, we introduced new uniforms through a new supplier – Caño Soccer, canosoccer.com, based in Ludlow, MA . They have created a custom uniforms for USA, so that the new uniform selection will never be discontinued. Players can use the same uniform until they outgrow it, lose it, or wear it out. Caño Soccer makes high quality uniforms that should last for many seasons.
If you DID NOT play in fall 2019, you will need a new uniform. The cost of the uniform is $50 and must be ordered through our website at www.unitedsoccerofauburn.com/shop. The kit includes shirt, shorts and socks.
These uniforms run SMALL, and the lead time is 6-7 weeks. We will hold fitting sessions beginning in January. We had a number of players receive jerseys that did not fit properly, and many of those were due to not trying on the kit before ordering.
The shirts and shorts are customized with name and/or number, and cannot be returned. It also takes a while to get replacements, so if you order the wrong size, your player will not get their uniform in time for the season start. It is imperative you have your child try on the uniform before ordering. Most found they needed to order at least one and even 2 sizes up for a proper fit that will allow for some growth of the player before needing to be replaced.
When you register, you will be asked if you need a new uniform(s). When you answer “Yes”, you will be added to an e-mail list to receive all updates and fitting times for the uniforms.
Moving forward, you will have the option to purchase a uniform at registration if you need one, but it will not be required. USA will order all the uniforms, and they will be given to coaches to hand out before games start.
Finally, player numbers will stay the same. We will simply carry the current numbering system over to the new supplier. If your child is new to USA, or will be moving from U8 to travel in the fall, a number will be assigned to him/her by the equipment coordinator when the register for travel soccer.
