All coaches from spring and fall 2016 are invited and encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting for United Soccer of Auburn. This year, we are trying something a little different.  We would like to get more participation at the AGM, but we also wanted a way to show our appreciation to our coaches and volunteers. We will have the meeting in the function room at Chuck’s, and appetizers/hors d’oevres will be served. We do ask you to RSVP so we have a count to provide to Chuck’s beforehand. We hope to get a lot of you down to Chuck’s for this meeting!

When: Sunday, November 6 (This is a Pats bye week)
Time: 6:00pm – 9:00pm.  Business meeting to start at 6:45pm
Where: Chuck’s Steak House
Rt. 20 and Prospect St., Auburn

The business meeting should take less than an hour. The business meeting agenda consists of:

  1. President Report
  2. Treasurer Report
  3. Bylaw changes (if applicable)
  4. Election of officers

Positions up for election to new 2 year terms this November are:

  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Registrar
  • Equipment Manager

Nominations will be accepted until October 23. Anyone in good standing with the league may run or be nominated for any BOD position.  Coaches from each team competing in the current season and one playing season prior (spring and fall 2016) have the right to vote at AGM. Only 2 coaches per team may vote. If a team has more than 2 coaches attending AGM, and they cannot determine who should have the vote, the appropriate age level coordinator will make the determination.
